Colo Claw Fish Versus CRACKPOT Matthew

Inthis post, a Colo Claw Fish is going to get CRACKPOT Matthew for his crackpot vendetta against one of my childhood movies.
Colo Claw Fish
 Versus
CRACKPOT Matthew
There is a rogue amateur film critic on YouTube who even has his own website calling himself "Confsued Matthew".  I call the nutcase by his turest colors "CRACKPOT Matthew" because he clearly does not know what he is talking about.  This crackpot not only hates The Lion King for stupid reasons, he is a CAPTAIN AHAB who has made The Lion King into his WHALE all because it ended a succession of Disney always giving him his way.  He singles out The Lion King in that it is the only film that he bashes in his other reviews such as in his laughable review of The Incredibles.  He is a bigot who thinks that everybody who has legitimate reasons for liking The Lion King is an idiot.

STORY:

CRACKPOT Matthew was sharing his review of The Lion King with everybody and demanding that his audience agree with him.  He was throwing insults out at anyone who likes the film and to those who created it.  He was doing this on an unusual structure made of steel rebar and thick reinforced concreate extending form the beah to the open ocean.  There were many of these bridge-like sturctures with blocks at the ends of them facing out to the open ocean.  Therefore, this crackpottery did not go unnoticed by an aquatic resident of the block on top of which CRACKPOT Matthew was standing on.  An eerie eel-like shape with strings of blue lightj surfaced and said, "Hey CRACKPOT Matthew, would you mind telling me what is going on with your crackpot drivel about The Lion King?"  CRACKPOT Matthew asked, "You must be a Colo Claw Idiot because from what I can tell, you like The Lion King."  The Colo Claw Fish shouted, "Matthew, there you go again saying that anyone who does not share your opinion is an idiot, I have legitimate reasons to like The Lion King.  I cvan destroyt your entire argument against The Lion King in your mind-numbing review of that film wirth only a few words: CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT & PLOT DEVELOPMENT."

Rebuttal to "Rodberryfan Commentary"

This post is a rebuttal to supergodzilla12's propaganda video series about me called "Rodberryfan Commentary" solely designed to promote confusedmatthew's asinine review of The Lion King because supergodzilla12 throughly agrees with it.  The sick moral of the Rodberryfan Commentary is that confusedmatthew's Lion King review is right and that the characters of Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa are evil.

First off, I will do a rebuttal to confusedmatthew's devastating Lion King review.  SavageBroadcast said that you can destroy confusedmatthew's entire argument in that sick review with just two terms; CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT & PLOT DEVELOPMENT, and SavageBroadcast is RIGHT!  It is clear that supergodzilla12 and confusedmatthew don't understand character or plot development and they complain about The Lion King doing what good films are supposed to do all because they are obsessive nitpickers.  If supergodzilla12 were to know how films work and understand both character and plot development, he would not be buying into confusedmatthew's bollocks against The Lion King, even if he really hates The Lion King.  If confusedmatthew were to know the basic mechanics of a film and understand concepts like character and plot development, he would not have spilled such bile about Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa, even if he were to hate The Lion King.  I myself am not a buff on films as a whole, but I can tell you that character development is essential.  Anyone who is a lot more involved in films and knows a lot more about films than I do will tell you the exact same thing.  In order for us to really believe in Simba maturing into a noble character, it is better off he starts out as a slightly sly and brash character in which something has to happen where he grows, learns, and matures, this is film making 101.  Bad films are ones without character or plot development.  Had Simba been made to the nitpicky standards that supergodzilla12 and confusedmatthew set, he would be a boring flat one-dimensional character and the film would be on standby.  Timon and Pumbaa are light-hearted characters and are in no way evil or villains, they are the only reason survived into adulthood after Scar exiled him plus they came back with Simba to Pride Rock to help him with a dangerous task because they truly considered him to be their friend.  The movie is not trying to make it look like Simba's fault, it is showing us that Scar was manipulating him, and that is part of plot develpoment.  To say that light-hearted characters like Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa are evil is an outright lie, a colossal misunderstanding, a delusion, or a product of obsessive nitpicking.  On occasion I have nitpicked certain aspects of certain films, and one of those extremely rare occasions is my beef with the brief underwater scene in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.

Now I will talk about the quint essential staple straw man that was created by supergodzilla12 for his propagandist "Rodberryfan Commentary" about me.  The straw man has it that I am just a Lion King fan boy who cannot accept the fact that some people don't like The Lion King.  Before I get started shooting down this straw boy, I do have to admit that I made some mistakes in communicating with supergodzilla12 such as some garbage language comments and a video about the Enterprise destroying Godzilla, but I fixed those mistakes unlike supergodzilla12 and confusedmatthew who defend their mistakes.  A straw man is an informal logical fallacy that distorts, oversimplifies, and/or twists an opponent's position and/or argument and later claims to heroically defeat their opponent in a debate.  This is highly illogical because distorting things is not the same as addressing someone's points.  For the premise of that propaganda commentary, supergodzilla12 distorted and oversimplified my concerns to the hilt.

The following is my actual argument and position against confusedmatthew's Lion King review.  First of all, I do not have a problem if some people don't like The Lion King, largely because I know that people have different opinions.  I have heard a couple of valid arguments against The Lion King BEFORE confusedmatthew posted his stinky review of that film.  One example I heard in late 2007 when I visited some pro hyena websites such as a Hyena guestbook and the Hyaena Specialist Group who were critical of The Lion King because they felt it gave hyenas a bad name.  I did not argue with that because I know when my limits are exposed unlike supergodzilla12 and confusedmatthew who think that they know it all.  I have read that some people just say that they are not a fan of The Lion King and leave it at that, and that is called an opinion, so I will respect that.  If one were to dislike The Lion King because they feel uncomfortable with it or anything along those lines, I will respect their opinion.  To set the record straight, just because one dislikes or even hates The Lion King, does not mean that they will engage in such asinine drival such as saying that Timon and Pumbaa are villains.  I tend to hate Star Wars, but I do not buy into adsurd claims such as the "Star Wars Militia recruiting Star Wars Goons" and "George Lucas wanting Gene Roddenberry's glory" as pushed by the I Hate Star Wars Club because I know that such assertions are bullshit.  Supergodzilla12, just because you hate The Lion King does not automattically mean that you have to run characters like Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa into the dirty gutter or say that they are evil.  The reason that I do not respect supergodzilla12 and confusedmatthew's views on The Lion King is because I know that it is bullshit centering around the inexcusable claim that the characters of Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa are evil.  Excuse the writers of The Lion King for not making their film meet supergodzilla12 and confusedmatthew's nitpicky standards.  Excuse all of those movie goers and film critics such as Roger Ebert who like The Lion King for valid reasons.  Excuse Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa for not being the types of protagonists that confusedmatthew and supergodzilla12 like, that does not make them bad at all.  In fact, supergodzilla12 and confuisedmatthew disrespect any opinion that likes The Lion King and says that all Lion King fans are idiots just for liking a movie that they hate, just like the I Hate Star Wars Club they act like.  For all of thier complaints about Simba's character that do not make sense, confusedmatthew and supergodzilla12 threaten to beat up or kill Simba, wich is highly immature and not at all a funny joke.

Introduction

This is a blog in which I call out two YouTubers for attacking a part of my childhood with bullshit, confusedmatthew and supergodzilla12.  Both confusedmatthew and supergodzilla12 hate The Lion King for the WRONG reasons, because the film does not meet their sick nitpicky standards and they dogmatically think that the characters of Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa are evil.  These two are very biased against The Lion King and will disrespectfully attack anyone who likes that film.

I have no problem if some people including confusedmatthew and supergodzilla12 don't like The Lion King, that is not why I am posting this blog.  I am posting this blog because of the logical fallacies and illogacies in their arguments and the nonsense that they base their views on.  I have noticed that many hyena lovers don't like The Lion King because they feel that it gives hyenas a bad name and that is a valid argument against The Lion King.  I do grudgingly admit that The Lion King is not a perfect film.  Plus people have different opinions with no tow opinions being exactly alike.  If one were just uncomfortable with The Lion King or anything along those lines, that is just a matter of taste and I will respect that.  The reason that I do not respect cconfusedmatthew and supergodzilla12's opinion on The Lion King is because unfortunately, it is based on a gross misunderstanding and bullshit.  Opinions do not excuse bullshit!

"There is a DIFFERENCE between having an opinion and being wrong on something."
- SavageBroadcast

There have been several people who did commentaries on confusedmatthew's devastating review of The Lion King including a YouTuber who I just quoted, SavageBroadcast.  SavageBroadcast commentated on confusedmatthew's Lion King, Lion King 2, and Incredibles reviews.  He also made two commentator episodes on confusedmatthew in general as well as a little Snapple-derived video ridiculing confusedmatthew.  SavageBroadcast will not be making anymore videos on confusedmatthew, he made that clear when he did his commentary on confusedmatthew's laughable review of The Incredibles.  I concur since it is not a good idea to keep milking the same cow all of the time as the saying goes.

I compare supergodzilla12 and confusedmatthew to the one bad apple Star Trek fan that I know best, an anonymous blogger going by the pseudonym of "William Shatner's #1 Fan" who posted the I Hate Star Wars Club blog here on Blogger in the year 2006.  The following is a list of the types of arguments that I am sick and tired of hearing and will not dignify even if you reword them.

ARGUMENTS THAT I AM SICK AND TIRED OF HEARING:
  1. "It's called an opinion"
  2. "You are just a Lion King fanboy"
  3. "You are just butthurt"
  4. "In your opinion"
  5. "What you say is not as factual as you claim it is"
  6. dancing around my argument[red herring] (i.e. using another quote from confusedmatthew's dumb Lion King review besides the ones that I quote for proving my point.)
  7. moving the goalposts (i.e. "There is alos character development in Harry Potter, and Simba is still an evil character who is like villains in other stories.")
  8. ad hominem (i.e. verbally attacking me without addressing even a single point that I make.)
  9. lying (i.e. saying "Simba does not learn anything.")
  10. straw man (i.e. "You do not accept that other people have an alternate opinion form you.")
  11. "confusedmatthew and supergodzilla12 are only voicing their opinion"
  12. "It was just a joke"
I may sound harsh, but I have heard all of the arguments in favor of confusedmatthew's Lion King review that supergodzilla12 thoroughly agrees with and am tired of hearing the same old logical fallacies over and over again.
